| At the University of Colima, we see social responsibility as a commitment to sustainable progress both locally and globally, with a mandate to promote social and human development in harmony with ethical, moral, equity and social justice values. We have therefore formulated our internationalization policy with the aim of ensuring the conditions that enable our academic staff and students to understand, work, contribute to and coexist successfully in the society of knowledge and in multicultural environments. These are; The National Association of Universities and Higher-Education Institutions (ANUIES), the Mexican Association for International Education (AMPEI); the Consortium for North American Higher Education Collaboration (CONAHEC); the Inter-American University Organization (OUI); the International Association of Universities (IAU); University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP); the Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUAL); the Higher Education Common Space (ECOES); the Ibero-American University Association for Graduate Studies (AUIP); Conférence des Recteurs et des Principaux des Universités du Québec (CREPUQ). Summer Internship in Hospitality
International students will be able to strengthen their training by being integrated in real learning scenarios in the tourism industry. The aim seeks to develop a meaningful learning making responsible for specific tasks in the reality of the workplace. The student may rectify or ratify the possession of the vocation of service, identifying the area of interest for the future professional development and also to build his/her resume. The performance on the company will be accompanied by a supervisor and an academic tutor.
Our collaborators are a friendly and youthful hotels located in Manzanillo, Colima. They provide wonderful services for guests, in addition to the excellent views of Manzanillos sea. Their staff is a multilingual team with friendly attitude.

It is mandatory for all studets and must turn it in upon arrival to the corresponding coordinator at the International relations office

Students must consider applying for visa if they are willing to stay over 180 days , for some countries visa is mandatory to enter Mexico and Acceptance Documents will be provided to the student to apply for Visa. An introductory session to the University of Colima, a tour of the facilities on campus and visits to place of historical, tourist and cultural interest, are included in the whole Internship Program, as well as an appointed tutor for the student during the internship.
