Summer Internship in Gastronomy
Students of this program can access various areas within th e Food and Beverage department such as: bars, cold kitchen, hot kitchen, specialties, bakery, pastry, banquets, service and administration. The student will acquire skills such as: achieving the optimization of inputs, standardization of recipes, collaborative work, mastery of basic and complex cooking techniques, preparation of dishes, beverages and Mexican pastries from various regions. Venue of the program development: Hotel Barcelo Karmina Palace Deluxe, Manzanillo.

Students must consider applying for visa if they are willing to stay over 180 days , for some countries visa is mandatory to enter Mexico and Acceptance Documents will be provided to the student to apply for Visa. An introductory session to the University of Colima, a tour of the facilities on campus and visits to place of historical, tourist and cultural interest, are included in the whole Internship Program, as well as an appointed tutor for the student during the internship.
