Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) also known as The National University of Malaysia was established on May 18, 1970 and has a strong history rooted in Malay nationalism.  UKM has adopted a more pragmatic stance now of accommodating the English Language to acquire a competitive edge globally whilst still remaining rooted in our local language and cultures.  The University has 13 faculties and 13 research institutes offering a wide variety of academic programmes both in arts and sciences. UKM was ranked 43 in QS University Rankings Asia 2017/2018 and top 100 in 7 subject QS World University Ranking 2018 . ◆Program Information


ASEAN Exchange Program

Objective
The aim of this mobility programme is to enhance economics and cultural understanding between students in Asian countries.

Courses Offered
Students can choose TWO out of THREE three-credit courses offered over a period of four weeks. The students learning hours will be about 120 hours for each course, which consists of 40 contact hours and 80 self-learning hours.

At the end of the programme, students will be given transcripts and certificates of completion.

The courses to be offered at UKM are:
• ICT in the Malaysian Society
• Game Programming and the Malaysian culture
• Competitive Programming
