The University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), a Catholic university for 112 years, envisions to respond to the signs of the times and mission to exercise leadership in pursuit of excellence.  The UIC offers basic education, tertiary educaiton, graduate and postgraduate stuies.  The Basic Educatioin offers pre-childhood education, elementary education, and Junior High School.  The tertiary education has 33 program offerings; 17 major offerings for graduate studies; and 3 major offerings for post graduate studies.  The UIC has a total present population of 7,000 students.  To back up the academe is a strong profile of administrators and faculty who are most qualified to handle respective positions and who have a strong Ignacian Marian Education, good training, and discipline.  A culture of respect for dignity of perons, commitment to service and good support for professional and spiritual endeavors are imbibed and continually nurtured through seminars, workshops and updates.  A strong Research & Publication, Community Extension, and Quality Assurance, are mobilized to look into sustainable developments to equip and prepare the UIC for global competence and internationalization.  The school has state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories equipped with updated equipment and media technology which can comfortably accommodate the existing and increasing population.  The UIC is PAASCU accredited and attained its Autonomous status in 2005 with validity up to May 2019.  The Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) have bestowed the Level IV Accredited Status to the Liberal Arts, Elementary and Secondary Education and Business Administration programs.  UIC is ISO Certified since August, 2017.
