The National Changhua University of Education (NCUE) was established in 1971 in Changhua County, Taiwan. The university’s mission is to foster a holistic approach to education that emphasizes comprehensive student development. For decades, NCUE has been dedicated to the cultivation of a balanced program of teacher education, scholarly research, student development, and community service. NCUE is in about 18-25 place among 158 universities in Taiwan and is rated one of Asian top 250th universities according to QS World University Rankings.

·Language Proficiency Requirements
Chinese Language Proficiency:
Students who want to take academic classes taught in Chinese are advised to have Chinese proficiency at least equivalent to TOCFL Superior / HSK (Level 4)
English Language Proficiency:
Students who wish to take academic classes taught in English are advised to have English proficiency at least equivalent to TOEFL iBT 79-80 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEIC 700 / CEFR B2

Dormitory:

NTD 7000~10000 per semester

Home stay:

Off Campus Assistance:

NTD 6000 per month. We will offer information in the orientation day.

·Medical Insurance
Buy overseas medical insurance in home country to cover the entire stay in Taiwan.
Required to join the National Health Insurance after 6 months of continuous residence in Taiwan; insurance fee: NT$500/month.
·Visa Process
Exchange for 1 semester:
Visitor Visa - Visitor Visa Extension (twice as the maximum extension times)

Exchange for 1 year:
Resident Visa (within 15 days after arrival) - Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) - Join National Health Insurance after a continuous residence in Taiwan for 6 months."
