De La Salle University in Manila the Philippines is an internationally recognized Catholic university established by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1911. The academic programs of DLSU are accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) and granted Institutional Accreditation status by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) for having demonstrated the highest standards of instruction, research, and community engagement and having developed wide networks and linkages with other educational institutions. The ASEAN University Network (AUN) has recently conferred upon De La Salle University the AUN Quality Mark at the Institutional Level. DLSU is the first university in ASEAN to earn the certification.
