Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) also known as The National University of Malaysia was established on May 18, 1970 and has a strong history rooted in Malay nationalism.  UKM has adopted a more pragmatic stance now of accommodating the English Language to acquire a competitive edge globally whilst still remaining rooted in our local language and cultures.  The University has 13 faculties and 13 research institutes offering a wide variety of academic programmes both in arts and sciences. UKM was ranked 43 in QS University Rankings Asia 2017/2018 and top 100 in 7 subject QS World University Ranking 2018 . UKM has also been awarded 6 star rating (Outstanding) in the Rating for Higher Education Institutions in Malaysia (SETARA) for the year 2017.

◆Program Information

GLOBAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM -
The program opens the opens the opportunity for students to participate in an extensive leadership module for a period of 10 days from 4 July to 13 July 2018. The program will explore issues on leadership and on multiculturalism in globalisation era. This program features a variety of activities such as lectures, discussions, student leadership projects and provide the student opportunity to explore Malaysian culture. Activities include community service, cultural dancing class, group presentations and excursion.
