Bangkok University is one of the first and largest private universities most recognized in Thailand. The university was officially founded by Mr. Surat and Mrs. Pongtip Osathanugrah in 1962 with the inspiration and desire to establish a tertiary educational institution to provide the students with solid academic content and practical skills.

With the enrollment of 27,835 students, the university offers Bachelor’s Degree Programs in 13 schools with 65 majors, 16 Master’s Degree Programs and 3 Doctoral Degree Programs. The undergraduate programs comprise day and special programs and are available in the Thai language as well as in English offered by the Bangkok University International College, School of Entrepreneurship and Management and School of Humanities and Tourism Management.

The Graduate School offers Master’s Degree Programs conducted in the Thai language as well as those international programs taught in English, in both day and evening classes. The Doctoral Degree Programs are taught in English only.
Bachelor’s Degree Programs offered at Bangkok University International College are in Marketing, Communication Arts, Business English, International Tourism Management, Computer Graphics and Multimedia, The School of Entrepreneurship and Management offers international undergraduate and graduate programs in Entrepreneurship, and the School of Humanities and Tourism Management offers international programs in Hotel and Restaurant Management, as well as in Culinary Arts and Design.

The Master’s Degree Programs are in Business Administration, Global Communication,Entrepreneurship, Business Innovation and Engineering The Master of Management in Entrepreneurship is offered in collaboration with Babson College, U.S.A.
The 3 Doctoral Degree Programs are in Communication Arts, and Knowledge Management and Innovation Management (under collaboration with with Grenoble University, France) and Engineering.
